Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada là bản ngoại truyện (spin-off) của game Samurai Warriors 4: Empires do Omega Force phát triển. Game xoay quanh câu chuyện về nhân vật chính Sanada Yukimura, dũng tướng của dòng họ Sanada trong thời kỳ Chiến Quốc (Sengoku), ông được mệnh danh là anh hùng số 1 của Nhật Bản. Bạn sẽ được theo chân Sanada Yukimura từ khi ông còn là một cậu bé cho đến lúc trở thành một chiến binh mạnh mẽ, chiến đấu cùng cha ông – Sanada Masayuki, trong trận tử thủ nổi tiếng ở thành Ueda.
